Pastor James Invites You To Help Raise $10,000 For Urgent Needs
Whoever gives to the poor will lack nothing. Proverbs 28:27
Updated January 28, 2025 9:13 AM Est
We began bringing homeless people back into our East Texas homes on May 12 of 2024 and we have not asked for financial help until right now. We simply must ask for help now and we wish to thank you for your generosity ahead of time. We appreciate you!
Over the last 8 months our personal & ministry savings accounts have been depleted as we gladly footed the bill to serve the needy and soft launch The Glory House Movement! Your generous donations will help us pay for the urgent needs of electric bills, clothes, rent, utilities, food, plus administrative and staffing costs.
This fundraiser launched January 25th and is projected to end February 9th at 11:59 pm! That gave us 15 days to raise $10,000 for Jesus, the homeless, addicted, elderly and mentally ill!
Jesus ~ “whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” Mt. 25

Meet Cowboy Cody - No Longer Homeless & Addicted
Our Most Recent Addition To Our GH Family
Cody With New Boots & Shoes Gifted by Pastor James
Cody needed new footwear and he prefers boots, so pastor James bought him new boots & shoes. Two are better than one right?
Cody At The Glory House Hub
He has really taken a likin’ to my FHC coffee tumbler! Here he’s seen leaving my house to head back to the camp to help Sue finish raking leaves. It is a real pleasure having him spend nights with me. He’s a good feller!
You see, Cowboy Cody and his sidekick canine Sarah drifted into our neck of the woods in January of 2025. Cody and his dog Sarah were homeless and we just could not leave them on the streets in this cold January weather when we had extra warm beds available!
Cody has been on meth, weed and alcohol for many years but we are proud to announce that he has been 100% clean & sober for 3 weeks now! As fate would have it, my wonderful local Christian friends called me one January Friday night and told me they had found a homeless man that I could help.
I just knew the Lord was challenging my comfort zone and asking me to drive to them and bring him into my home. So I did. Has God ever challenged your comfort zone to help the homeless and addicted? He he.
Cody Eating Before Our Zoom Church Service
Cody lives at our De Kalb camp but enjoys spending the night with Pastor James at the GH house hub too. See all those Bibles next to his plate? Those are his! He loves Jesus!
Cody Devouring God’s Word
Some men we find need to be trained to love Jesus, Cody did not. Look at him breaking spiritual bread at Pastor’s table!
Cody Working Out With Pastor James
I finally found a workout partner! He loves to pump iron!
Cody and Sarah
Cody & Sue Burning Leaves At The House Hub
Like all real cowboys, Cody works like a man! Sue is on our GH ministry team. She’s here helping manage our daily workforce duties.

I brought her a kitten to keep her company and she just loves it. This women’s home is a large 3 bedroom 2 bath home so let us know if you know if you know someone who needs to move in the women’s home.
